Q&A With Your Queue: Michelle MiJung Kim

We're back again to meet a podcast person! Michelle MiJung Kim is the host and producer of I Feel That Way Too. This is one of my absolute favorite podcasts ever. I reviewed it last week, so take a gander if you're interested in adding it to your queue this week. I love the episode "Can We Be Friends If We Disagree Politically?"

If you already read the review, then let's continue on to our mini interview with Michelle on the podcasts that impacted her.

First things first, let's take a moment to appreciate this cover art. Michelle? The colors? The typeface? 10/10 for me. This isn't about me, though. Let's talk more about Michelle.
Michelle is a Korean American immigrant and queer woman. She's the author of The Wake Up, a speaker, and, of course, the host of I Feel That Way Too.
Q: What was the first podcast you listened to?
A: This American Life

From Keelin: I know this podcast needs no introduction, but I rarely listen to it. I usually listen if someone recommends an episode. If you, reader, have a favorite episode, please let me know!
Q: What is the most important podcast you've listened to?
A: I have two: Becoming the People by Prentis Hemphill and the series "A World Beyond Revenge" by This is Actually Happening.

I added the first episode above. I will absolutely be adding this to my queue for this upcoming Queuesday.
Q: What is your favorite escape-pod?
A: Normal Gossip

Keelin is going to take a bet now and say this one will pop up quite a bit in this series. Maybe at the one-year mark of Q&A I will analyze some stats.
I hope this interview gives you some more ideas as to what to add to your queue! In the meantime, be sure to subscribe to The Monthly Magpie below. That's where I round up all of my writing, tell you more about me, and whatever else I feel like.
